
Hilton has announced the signing of Spark by Hilton Ponce, marking the upcoming debut of the premium economy brand in the Caribbean and Latin America. Scheduled to open in late 2025, the hotel will be located in Puerto Rico’s second largest city and will be managed by HI Development P.R. Corp. Spark by Hilton Ponce is owned by Ponce Resorts Inc.

The hotel will feature 120 rooms, a meeting space, breakfast area and outdoor pool. Amenities will include in-room refrigerators, complimentary breakfast and bright common spaces with multi-functional seating for dining, working or socializing.

Strategically located near Ponce International Airport and Highway 52, the property is designed to offer “reliable essentials and friendly service for every guest, at an accessible price.”

Spark by Hilton Ponce will join Hilton’s portfolio of more than 10 hotels currently welcoming guests in Puerto Rico. Hilton has stated its goal to double its presence on the island within four years. In the Caribbean, Hilton operates approximately 50 hotels and has 40 additional properties in development. Across the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton has approximately 290 hotels and more than 145 in the pipeline.
Spark by Hilton launched less than a year ago and has already surpassed 160 open hotels globally. The brand has a development pipeline of more than 190 hotels.
Guests will have access to Hilton Honors, the company’s loyalty program.
