Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has opened Rosewood Doha and announced that Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin will debut in December 2025, the Hong Kong-based company’s first alpine property.

Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin is located at the highest point of Courchevel 1850 and will offer ski-in, ski-out access amid 51 rooms and suites. The resort will feature integrated retail and ski rental areas, a spa, a kids club, a bar lounge and a cigar room. The all-day dining concept will include a terrace with mountain views.

The project was led by French designer Tristan Auer and reflects Rosewood’s ‘A Sense of Place’ philosophy, aiming to create “a new expression of mountain hospitality,” according to Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

“Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin represents a defining milestone for the brand as our inaugural venture into alpine hospitality, situated in one of the world’s most revered ski destinations. This opening affirms Rosewood’s position at the vanguard of destination-led hospitality, offering our guests an opportunity for discovery in the most coveted address of Le Jardin Alpin,” Arora said.

Meanwhile, in Qatar, Rosewood has opened Rosewood Doha, located in Lusail. The hotel includes 155 guestrooms and suites, 162 apartments and 276 residences. The design is inspired by the coral reefs of the Arabian Gulf and was led by Qatari architect Ibrahim Jaidah.

“Working with the Rosewood brand has been an incredible opportunity that aligns closely with my design philosophy. Rosewood truly honors the individuality of each location, which allowed us to reflect our identity and culture within a luxurious, contemporary structure. This is where the concept of the coral reef came into play, to inspire the architectural ‘skin’ of the Rosewood building. The location and the sea are deeply rooted in our heritage in this part of the world and incorporating that narrative into the design was both meaningful and rewarding. It has been an amazing experience to grow through the design and concept development process with the wonderful Rosewood team. I am genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully they incorporate a sense of place in everything they do,” said Ibrahim Jaidah, who was the architect of record for the hotel..

Dining venues at Rosewood Doha include Mila, a 24-hour Levantine brasserie; Asaya Kitchen, focused on Mediterranean wellness fare; Koo Madame, inspired by 1920s Shanghai; the Butterfly Room with its in-house pâtisserie; the bar Stoke & Stoker; and Sikar cigar lounge. The Manor Club lounge provides a quieter setting, while wellness offerings include hydrotherapy, sound healing, and biohacking through Rosewood’s Asaya program—its first in the country.

The hotel also offers 3,477 square meters of event space, including a grand ballroom, a Bridal House, and a residential-style Pavilion. A private car lift allows discreet access for VIP guests and product launches.

“With Rosewood Doha, we had an extraordinary opportunity to express not just the future of luxury hospitality, but the emotional texture of Qatar. Every space was designed to feel purposeful and personal—to move beyond the expected and resonate deeply with our guests. From the fluid lines of the towers to the smallest gestures of hospitality, this property embodies the emotional intelligence and cultural reverence that define the Rosewood experience,” said Juan Samso, managing director.
