The Hoxton, Shoreditch will open London’s first Il Bambini Club this September, bringing the Italian dining concept to the UK for the first time.
The restaurant will take over the hotel’s former Hoxton Grill space and will be operated by RIKAS Group Hospitality in partnership with Paris Society, which created the Il Bambini brand.
The concept, already established in Paris and Megève, blends a classic trattoria style with contemporary design.
The Shoreditch venue will serve an all-day menu of pasta, pizza, antipasti and desserts, with an Italian wine list and cocktails inspired by 1960s Rome.
It will feature an open kitchen, a large bar and live mid-week music. Interiors by Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace will combine green and terracotta furnishings with dark wood, patterned fabrics and custom ceramics.
Opened in 2006, The Hoxton, Shoreditch was the first in the Hoxton hotel group, which now operates 17 locations across Europe and North America.
The hotels are designed as “open houses” with public spaces, restaurants and bars aimed at both guests and local communities.
The Hoxton brand has expanded to cities including Holborn, Amsterdam, Paris, Chicago and Rome, with new openings in Florence and Edinburgh this year. It is part of Ennismore, a hospitality group that operates founder-led brands worldwide.
