The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has added 10 new properties to its portfolio, including its first member in Mongolia, a debut in Saint Lucia, and a prominent addition in the UK.

Beaverbrook, a countryside retreat in Surrey once home to press baron Lord Beaverbrook, joins as the only UK hotel in the latest cohort. The property blends “British heritage with modern luxury” across a main house, garden cottages and a range of leisure amenities, including a spa, tennis and nature walks.

The wider additions strengthen LHW’s presence across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, with a mix of newly opened and historic hotels joining the network.

Among the new members is the Ayan Zalaat Hotel and Spa in Mongolia, located on the edge of the Bogd Khan Uul Reserve near Ulaanbaatar, and Windjammer Landing Resort and Residences in Castries, Saint Lucia, which reopened in 2023 following a renovation.

In the United States, LHW welcomes Hotel Chelsea in New York, known for its creative legacy; El Encanto in Santa Barbara; and Giza Palace in Egypt, a large-scale resort near the Great Pyramids.

European additions include Ancora Cortina in Italy’s Dolomites, due to reopen in 2025; Palazzo Cordusio in Milan, a Grand Meliá Hotel housed in a restored neoclassical landmark; and AREV Saint-Tropez, a recently opened Riviera retreat.

Asia gains the Pearl Gallery Hotel in Guiyang, China, a design-led property in the city’s Green District.

Deniz Omurgonulsen, vice president of member experience at LHW, said: “Each addition allows us to better serve our discerning travellers with fresh opportunities to explore the world’s most remarkable places. These hotels are more than beautiful spaces: they are cultural touchstones, offering authentic connections, extraordinary design, and singular guest experiences.”

LHW’s network now includes properties in more than 80 countries, with each member selected for its independent spirit, local character and personalised service.
