Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will open their 1587 Prime steakhouse next month and have started taking reservations.
On Monday, the restaurant, which will be in the Loews Kansas City Hotel, announced on social media that 1587 Prime will open on Sept. 17, which is also Mahomes’ 30th birthday.
Reservations for opening night went quickly, according to KSHB.
Operations are being overseen by hospitality company Noble 33, which also operates Toca Madera, Casa Madera, Sparrow Italia, and Meduza Mediterrania. The founder earlier posted an Instagram reel of Kelce and Mahomes sampling menu items from the restaurant.

Menu items range from Wagyu beef with pickled mushrooms, pine nuts, umami aioli, and shaved black truffle to chopped salads, shrimp, and burgers.
Street access is available at the restaurant, which covers 10,000 square feet and 238 seats across two levels, KSHB reported.
The restaurant will also feature a 20-seat central bar on the first floor, private dining rooms, live entertainment, custom art installations, and a private entrance for VIPs.
Kelce is also known for dating pop star Taylor Swift.
