The Edinburgh Grand has appointed Fiona Hendry as sales manager, with responsibility for both the George Street hotel and Old Town Chambers serviced apartments.

Hendry’s appointment follows the recent rebrand of the two properties under Marriott’s Luxury Collection and Autograph Collection portfolios.

In her new role, Hendry will focus on strengthening sales strategies across leisure and corporate markets, alongside developing partnerships to position both sites as leading luxury destinations in the capital.

General manager Emre Pasli said Hendry was “a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for luxury service and guest experience”.

He said: “As sales manager for The Edinburgh Grand and Old Town Chambers, she will work to support both properties in driving sales, nurturing client relationships and delivering memorable guest experiences.

“With a career rooted in Edinburgh and shaped by roles at Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian as well as at the Conrad Dublin, Fiona brings a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and a genuine love for creating truly exceptional stays.”

Hendry added: “I’m delighted to be returning to Edinburgh at such a pivotal time for both The Edinburgh Grand and Old Town Chambers. These properties represent the very best of Scottish hospitality, blending heritage with modern luxury, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to showcase their unique character to clients and guests from around the world.”
