The Harden’s London Restaurants Guide – the UK’s original restaurant survey – yesterday revealed London’s top restaurants for 2026.

Jason Atherton’s ROW on 5 has been billed as the city’s most important opening of the year, with ROW on 5 coming in first place for both food and ambience in the £130 and above category.

Having opened in November 2024, ROW on 5 has immediately taken its place amongst the capital’s most impressive destinations, also having gained a Michelin Star within its first three months.

The 15-course tasting menu is divided into three acts, across three venues within the Saville Row restaurant. Guests follow a culinary journey, guided by the peaks of the British produce season. Hosting 28 guests at any one time, the ROW on 5 team is made up of 11 cooks and 11 front of house, ensuring exemplary service from start to finish.

Executive Chef Spencer Metzger (ROW on 45 Dubai, The Ritz), leads the food programme alongside Jason Atherton, and Roxane Dupuy crafts its exceptional drinks programme as Executive Sommelier.

On the news that Row on 5 has topped Harden’s Restaurants Guide Jason Atherton says: “Beyond thrilled to be recognised by Harden’s, one of the world’s most trusted and authoritative voices in the Business of restaurants . ROW on 5 is the restaurant Irha and I always dreamed of creating, and Spencer and I have worked tirelessly to bring that dream to life. We took a bold risk, reimagined the formula, and stayed true to our vision so to see it embraced in this way is both humbling and deeply rewarding. Above all, we are profoundly grateful to our incredible ROW on 5 team, whose passion and dedication have made this journey possible.”
