The Grade II listed Dover Marina Hotel and Spa has joined Hilton’s Tapestry Collection following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Located on the seafront overlooking the White Cliffs, the 122-room property is the first Hilton-branded hotel in Dover.
According to the group, the restoration has combined Regency architecture with modern interiors.
The hotel includes Marco Pierre White’s Mr White’s English Chophouse, the Churchill Bar and a refurbished spa with seven treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, spa pool and gym.
Event spaces have also been updated to host weddings and other functions. Additionally, the hotel is also part of Hilton Honors, the company’s guest loyalty scheme.
Hilton stated that the addition of the hotel is intended to support tourism growth in the town, attracting international visitors, cruise passengers and local guests.
Pradeep Wijesinghe, general manager of the hotel, said: “As part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, we are honouring our history while crafting experiences that speak to the heart as much as the palate.”
