St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot has been named Hotel of the Year for Wales at the AA Hospitality Awards 2025.
The Pembrokeshire hotel, part of the Celtic Collection, is the first in Wales to win the title twice, having previously received the award in 2011.
It follows Cardiff’s Parkgate Hotel, also managed by the group, which won the award in 2024.
The recognition comes after a three-month refurbishment completed earlier this year. All 35 bedrooms have been upgraded with new air conditioning, furniture and furnishings, while meeting and events spaces for up to 100 delegates have been modernised.
The spa has also been enhanced, with the addition of a Himalayan infra-red saltroom, outdoor sauna and spa pool.
Additionally, The Cliff Restaurant, which holds two AA Rosettes, has been rebranded and refurnished to highlight the hotel’s coastal location overlooking Saundersfoot Bay.
The Celtic Collection took over management of St Brides Spa Hotel in 2024 in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven.
Matt Barnby, regional operations director at Celtic Collection, said: “The whole team at St Brides Spa Hotel are committed to providing the warmest Welsh welcome, delivering exceptional hospitality and exceeding guest expectations, so winning Hotel of the Year for Wales from the AA is an amazing achievement and a fantastic endorsement for all that we do.”
