
WorldHotels Elite has added Akgün Istanbul Hotel to its portfolio, marking the brand’s return to Turkey. The hotel becomes the first property in the country under the WorldHotels Elite collection.
Located in Istanbul’s Surici District, Akgün Istanbul Hotel has operated since 1990. The property is near landmarks including Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Chora Museum and the Grand Bazaar. It is 30 meters from Topkapi Metro Station, providing access to areas such as Haliç Congress Center, Taksim Square and Istanbul Airport, located 40 kilometers away.
The hotel has 276 rooms, including deluxe rooms, junior suites and a presidential suite. Facilities include restaurants and bars serving Turkish and international cuisine, a spa and wellness center with Turkish bath and sauna, an outdoor pool and eight meeting rooms for up to 650 guests.

Akgün Istanbul Hotel also hosts events such as weddings and private gatherings, using its ballroom and poolside venues.
