Ennismore has announced that it is set to open a new Delano hotel in Kensington in late 2026, marking the brand’s return to the UK market under Ennismore’s global expansion plans.
The 67-room Delano London will be located near Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, within a restored red-brick and stucco building. The project is being developed in partnership with Dubai-based Signature Developers and UK firm DCD Properties.
Ennismore said the hotel will combine “refined community spirit” with the architectural and cultural heritage of the area. Interiors will feature natural tones, textured materials and “Delano white” detailing, reflecting the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic.
The property will include a ground-floor restaurant curated by Ennismore’s food and beverage division, introducing one of its hospitality brands to London for the first time. A reimagined version of Miami’s Rose Bar will also open on site, offering 290 square metres of lounge and private dining space with live music areas.
Delano London’s design will feature a lobby lounge centred around a fireplace, a curated library and a retail space showcasing local and international brands. The hotel’s rooms will include updated touches such as a modern interpretation of Delano’s “apple a day” amenity.
Chief executive Sharan Pasricha said the new property forms part of a wider global expansion of the Delano brand, which includes planned openings in New York and the relaunch of Delano Miami Beach in early 2026.
Co-chief executive Gaurav Bhushan said the London site represents “an exciting step” in building a global pipeline that also includes projects in Istanbul, Puglia, Marrakesh and Costa Rica.
It comes as Ennismore appointed Ben Pundole as chief brand officer for Delano earlier this year. He will oversee the development of new concepts across the group’s portfolio as part of a partnership with investment firm Cain, which took a minority stake in the brand in 2024.
