
Rosewood São Paulo has appointed Marie-Berengere Chapoton as its new managing director, bringing over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry to her new role.
“It’s an honor to welcome Marie as the new Managing Director of Rosewood São Paulo,” said Edouard Grosmangin, regional vice president, Mexico and South America for Rosewood. “With her at the helm, we begin a new chapter dedicated to elevating luxury and curating exceptional experiences that reflect the soul of Brazil and the spirit of Rosewood.”
Chapoton has held senior leadership positions in 11 countries at hotels under various Accor brands, including Raffles, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Sofitel. She has led hotel openings, brand repositioning and major events, such as the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games in Brazil.
Most recently, she served as general manager of Raffles Al Areen Palace & Spa Bahrain. She also served as vice president, representing Bahrain on the Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France (CCEF).
