Orient Express has announced the appointment of Bartolomeo Fusco as general manager of Orient Express Venice.
Fusco will oversee the operational launch of the Venice property ahead of its opening at the beginning of 2026. Most recently, he served as general manager of Aman Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano.

His deep knowledge of the city and his instinct for exceptional hospitality will shape Palazzo Donà Giovannelli into a landmark of refined travel”, said Gilda Perez Alvarado, CEO of Orient Express.
Fusco’s career also includes five years as deputy general manager at Aman Venice and international leadership roles as interim general manager at Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro and Amanjena in Marrakech. In addition, he previously served as director of food & beverage at Aman Venice from 2013 to 2019.
