Europe: expanding through heritage, design, and lifestyle innovation

 Europe continues to represent one of Hyatt’s most dynamic regions, combining cultural authenticity with strong market diversification.

In Portugal, the group will strengthen its presence in Lisbon with two landmark projects:

  • The Andaz Lisbon, Hyatt’s first Andaz-branded property in the country, located on Praça do Comércio, will showcase Lisbon’s architectural heritage blended with modern design.
  • The Standard Lisbon, expected in 2026, will enhance the city’s cultural vibrancy through gastronomy, art, and music in a lifestyle-driven setting.

Middle East: pioneering wellness and ultra-luxury experiences

In the Middle East, Hyatt continues to expand its luxury and wellness footprint.

On Shura Island in Saudi Arabia, two flagship projects are set for completion between late 2025 and 2026:

  • Miraval The Red Sea, a 180-room adults-only wellness retreat focused on holistic wellbeing;
  • Grand Hyatt The Red Sea, featuring 430 rooms and suites with panoramic sea views, signature dining, and premium facilities.

Hyatt will also debut the Hyatt Place AlUla (215 rooms, 2026), marking its first opening in one of Saudi Arabia’s key heritage destinations. In the United Arab Emirates, the Grand Hyatt Dubai Water Park (Q4 2025) will bring over 20,000 m² of aquatic and leisure facilities, highlighting Hyatt’s growing focus on integrated urban resorts.

 A unified vision for long-term growth across EMEA

Hyatt’s 2025–2026 pipeline across EMEA reflects a deliberate strategy of diversification and market specialisation. By combining a restructured leadership framework with a portfolio spanning lifestyle, luxury, and midscale brands, Hyatt aims to strengthen its regional competitiveness while driving long-term value for owners and investors.

The group’s openings from Lisbon to the Red Sea exemplify its ambition to merge brand identity, local culture, and design excellence—ensuring that Hyatt continues to shape the evolving landscape of hospitality across EMEA with both strategic discipline and creative vision.
