
Rutland Hall Hotel and Spa has appointed James Hiley-Jones as non-executive director.
Hiley-Jones, a Master Innholder and managing director at Greenclose Hotels, brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
He has been involved in developing hotel operations and guest service strategies across a range of properties.
He was recently granted the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of his contribution to the UK hospitality sector.
Rutland Hall Hotel and Spa is a lakeside resort set in around 70 acres of parkland beside Rutland Water, near Oakham, Rutland.
It offers hotel rooms, self-catering lodges and suites, many with lake views. On-site amenities include the Blossoms restaurant and bar, a 22-metre indoor swimming pool, gym and spa facilities, and outdoor activities in the estate grounds.
Rutland Hall said: “James Hiley-Jones’ appointment will support the hotel’s strategic development as it continues to expand its operations on the shores of Rutland Water.”
