When Accor unveiled Emblems Collection in 2021, the ambition was to craft a curated portfolio of landmark luxury hotels with strong personalities and deep roots in their destinations. More than just another brand in the group’s portfolio, Emblems was designed as a soft brand for independently owned, emblematic properties — where heritage, craftsmanship, and individuality converge. 5 years later, the first property is inaugurated marking the conclusion of a two-year negotiation between the Laskaridis family and Maud Bailly’s team others are to open within 18 months confirming the positioning of the softbrand.
