Innside by Meliá Manchester has completed a refurbishment of its premium rooms and suites as the hotel marks its 10th anniversary in the city centre.
The work covered 52 rooms, including its City View rooms, Studio Suites and eight Townhouse Suites on the top two floors.
The company said the upgrades reflect changing guest preferences while maintaining the hotel’s focus on design and sustainability.

The refreshed rooms now include bedside USB and USB-C charging points and new smart televisions with Chromecast, and some fittings have been reused to reduce waste.
The premium rooms will aim to make greater use of the building’s outlook, with the Townhouse Suites offering wider views across Manchester’s skyline. Materials have been selected in line with Meliá Hotels International’s environmental commitments, including natural-toned flooring and colour schemes intended to suit business and leisure travellers.
The hotel said it will continue to work with local suppliers and has maintained a partnership with BlackJack Brewery, which provides a selection of Manchester-brewed beers.
The remainder of the hotel bedrooms will undergo refurbishment in quarter one of 2026.
Garry Fortune, UK director of Operations for Meliá Hotels International, said: “After ten fantastic years in Manchester, now felt like the right time to reinvest in the property.
“Our priority is always to enhance comfort while delivering a welcoming, modern space, and we want every room to feel like a true home away from home, whether guests are here for business or leisure. The stylish refurbishment has modernised the hotel and further aligned Manchester with the INNSiDE by Meliá brand.”
