The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has completed a phased renovation of all 414 guestrooms and suites. Work began in spring and concluded in early December 2025. The project updated the design of the accommodations across the property located on Palm Beach.
The redesigned rooms follow a consistent interior concept based on neutral tones and coastal references. Sand, tan and taupe form the primary color palette, with coral and sea glass-colored accents used throughout the spaces. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light into the rooms and provide views of the sea and surrounding area.
Furnishings include marble-topped work desks and seating areas with new sofas and armchairs in tropical tones. New flooring and updated fixtures were installed, including rattan desk lamps and thin metallic light fixtures. Photographs of palm trees, sand and the sea were added as part of the décor. Hallways on each floor were also updated with new carpet featuring oversized seashell and aquatic designs.
Bathrooms were redesigned with double vanities topped with marble countertops, back-lit mirrors, lightwood accents and open shelving. Showers feature sliding glass doors, waterfall shower heads, a shower foot niche and light gray tile walls. Select rooms were outfitted with oversized soaking tubs.
The renovation also included the resort’s 24 suites, which measure 625 square feet and include wrap-around balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Palm Beach. Three Junior Suites and two Governor’s Suites are part of the Tradewinds Club, an adults-only experience within the resort.
The Mandara Spa also underwent updates as part of the project. The spa measures 6,500 square feet and includes 12 treatment rooms. New saunas and steam rooms were added, along with décor enhancements throughout the spa. The outdoor courtyard now includes a hot tub, cold plunge and additional seating.
“I couldn’t be more energized about this next chapter for the Aruba Marriott Resort,” said Raoul Lemmerling, complex general manager, Aruba Marriott Resort. “It comes on the heels of recent upgrades to the Stellaris Casino, and splendid expansions and enhancements to the Mandara Spa. The refreshed room aesthetic introduces a breath of fresh air for our beloved repeat guests and first-time visitors, and is just one step in our ever-evolving journey to exceed expectations.”
The property continues to offer a range of on-site amenities, including a centralized family-friendly pool with a swim-up bar, an adults-only H2Oasis pool, the spa and casino, the Tradewinds Club and 10 on-site restaurants with varied cuisines and settings.
The renovation project represents the most recent series of updates at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino following completed work at the casino and spa.
