Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel of Hilton, has named William Fisher as its new general manager. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Fisher Fisher joins Rome Cavalieri following his tenure as general manager of the Hilton London Metropole.
With an international career spanning Europe and Asia, Fisher has held senior leadership roles across a diverse portfolio of hotels within renowned hospitality brands, including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton and Orient Express.
His early career saw rapid growth in China, including serving as acting general manager at Hilton Dali Resort & Spa and leading the opening of Hilton Chengdu in 2015. He later served as area general manager, overseeing operations in Szechuan, followed by the greater Shanghai area.
