Portugal: Timbre Hotels has launched as a Porto-based boutique hospitality brand, positioning its offer around heritage-led design, urban living and wellness-focused guest experiences.
Part of IME, Imóveis e Empreendimentos Hoteleiros, S.A., the group operates three properties across Porto, totalling 248 accommodation units. The portfolio is designed to serve leisure, business and extended-stay travellers.
The brand’s flagship property, Timbre Virtudes, is a five-star hotel housed in a restored 16th-century building in the Virtudes and Miragaia area. The 71-room hotel retains original architectural features alongside contemporary interiors and is home to the group’s food and beverage concepts, including a rooftop bar and signature restaurant.
Timbre Heroísmo is a four-star, 153-room hotel located next to the Heroísmo metro station, positioned towards business and group travel with conference facilities. Timbre Boavista offers 24 serviced apartments and targets longer-stay guests seeking a city-living style experience with hotel services.
Food, wellness and lifestyle experiences form a key part of the brand’s proposition, with services including guided urban walks, mindfulness sessions, personal training and concierge-led local experiences.
Adérito Oliveira, managing director of Timbre Hotels, said the brand aims to create distinctive stays rooted in the character of Porto.
