The addition of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has helped Hilton dramatically increase its luxury portfolio to around 400 boutique hotels. Guests can now access and book hundreds of SLH properties on all Hilton booking channels and the Hilton Honors mobile app.

The diverse collection of boutique hotels join Hilton’s existing luxury brand portfolio, which comprises brands like Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts and Signia by Hilton.

The exclusive partnership between Hilton and SLH enables members of Hilton Honors, Hilton’s loyalty program, to earn and redeem points for stays at participating SLH properties. Additionally, members can also avail exclusive benefits at SLH’s city, beach and resort hotels.

“The hundreds of independently minded properties are highly complementary to our renowned luxury portfolio and support Hilton’s ongoing efforts to expand and create distinct, localized travel experiences for our guests,” said Chris Silcock, president, global brands and commercial services, Hilton.

Hundreds of SLH properties, including the Nobu Hotel Marbella (pictured above) can be booked on Hilton platforms.

Hilton Honors members can enhance their stay at SLH properties with exclusive benefits, including earning and redeeming Points, complimentary WiFi and a guaranteed member discount.

Some of the SLH hotels which can are available to book on Hilton’s booking platforms include:

  • Hermitage Bay, St. Mary’s, Antigua and Barbuda: An all-inclusive, boutique retreat located along the Caribbean shores.
  • Lanson Place Causeway Bay Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China: Situated on the Causeway Bay at Lanson Place, the hotel blends Parisian glamor with Hong Kong hospitality.
  • Gangtey Lodge, Phobjikha Valley, Bhutan: This Himalayan retreat overlooks Bhutan’s Gangtey (Phobjikha) Valley and offers views of the area’s surrounding forests and mountains.
  • Nimb Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark: Located in Copenhagen’s famed Tivoli Gardens, the Moorish-styled 38-room palace has a Venetian marble façade facing the gardens.
  • Grove of Narbeth, Narbeth, Wales, U.K.: Once a historic house, this luxury hotel sits in a corner of the Pembrokeshire countryside and offers views of the gardens and hills.
  • Nobu Hotel Marbella, Marbella, Spain: The beach retreat includes the Marbella restaurant.
  • Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa, Jackson, Wyo., U.S.: Situated near Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, the hotel features 40 rooms and is a conveniently placed for discovering the Yellowstone Park or skiing and hiking throughout the area.

Following Hilton’s announcement of partnering with SLH, 390 SLH hotels have opted to participate in the partnership, with more properties anticipates to be added as the two companies’ relationship deepens.

Although Hilton’s growth has traditionally stemmed from launching new brands, as opposed to acquiring other brands, the lodging company has been on an acquisition spree this year. In February, the lodging company announced it had entered into a strategic partnership with SLH, which would help expand its luxury portfolio. In March, Hilton agreed to pay $210 million for the rights to Graduate Hotels, a brand with over 30 hotels located in and around college markets. Later that month, Hilton tied up with outdoor hospitality company AutoCamp to offer enhanced outdoor lodging experiences in unique destinations. In April, Hilton ventured into the luxury lifestyle sector by acquiring a controlling stake in Sydell Group, the owner of NoMad Hotels.
