TIVOLI OPENS WELLNESS RESORT IN ITALY: Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, part of Minor Hotels, has launched Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa in Trieste, Italy. Located in the Duino Cliffs Nature Reserve, the hotel is part of the Portopiccolo mixed-use development and has a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, multiple restaurants and bars, retail venues and a luxury marina. The hotel offers 58 rooms, including 20 suites, along with 30 branded apartments. Services and amenities include six pools, a terrace overlooking the marina, restaurant and a lounge bar. A 3,600-square-meter spa, operated by Terme di Saturnia, is slated to open later this year and will have eight treatment rooms, an indoor/outdoor pool with sea views and saunas and steam rooms.
COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT ADDS IN JAPAN: Courtyard by Marriott has added its eighth hotel in Japan with the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo in Sapporo City. This marks the brand’s first property in Hokkaido. The new hotel features 321 rooms, multiple dining venues, a fitness center and a spa. Courtyard by Marriott has more than 1,300 properties across almost 60 countries.
SCOTTSDALE HOME2 SUITES BY HILTON SELLS: JLL Hotels & Hospitality has arranged the sale and financing of Home2 Suites by Hilton North Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz. JLL represented the seller. Working on behalf of the new owner, JLL also procured the acquisition loan from a regional credit union. Other details of the transaction were not disclosed. Built in December 2022, the hotel includes an outdoor pool, a fitness center, business center and 500 square feet of event space.
ACCOR, MBAPPÉ ANNOUNCE ALLIANCE: Accor and soccer player Kylian Mbappé have joined hands to empower the youth, further corporate social responsibility and boost Mbappé’s initiatives. Currently, ama Stays & Trails has 203 bungalows in India, with 97 properties under development. Present in more than 15 states in the country, the luxury brand has been venturing into high demand clusters and building a presence anchored around IHCL’s existing hotels. More than 65% of the brand’s pipeline consists of new-builds. The bungalows offer a mix of Indian heritage and modernity and include British colonial-style villas, Portuguese cottages, homes inspired by traditional Kerala architecture and contemporary homestays.
