Shiji is celebrating the third anniversary of its Shiji Enterprise Platform, a leading product in the global hospitality industry. Currently in use in over 10,000 rooms across hotels like Peninsula and Sircle Collection.

  • Launched in 2020, Shiji Enterprise Platform (sometimes known as the Shiji PMS) has quickly become the go-to solution for global hotel companies, and multi-property hotel groups.

Berlin, Germany, February, 20, 2023 – Shiji, the global hospitality innovator, is proud to announce the third anniversary ofits flagship product, Shiji Enterprise Platform.

Shiji Enterprise Platform was first adopted by Peninsula Hotels in 2020 and has since grown rapidly to currently be in use in hotels covering more than 10,000 rooms in other leading hotels such as Sircle Collection, Dakota Hotels and more.

Originally conceived to replace the aging PMS technology in hotels, it became a lot more than a simple PMS, hence the name Shiji Enterprise Platform. The platform was designed for multi-property and multi-brand use across regions, with security, privacy built in. Popular features such as allowing for guest personalization with single, global guest profiles across the entire hotel portfolio, the ever-learning match-and-merge technology provides hoteliers with cleaner guest profiles and better preference data for hotel staff.

Speaking about Shiji Enterprise Platform in a recent video, Wietse Bijzeit, Group Director of Technology and Business Solutions at Sircle Collection said: “The implementation of the Shiji Enterprise Platform has been a true game changer for our teams at the hotels. It has a much more intuitive user interface; the systems are more integrated. Plus our teams have new modules available to them that they didn’t have before.”

Features of Shiji Enterprise Platform include:

  • Over 1,200 API endpoints.
  • An ‘API-everything’ approach that makes data easily accessible and readily available for integrations, custom applications, and tailoring to meet the specific needs of each customer.
  • Built to make the management of a global hotel portfolio easier, with easy configuration from the global, regional, or brand perspective and central updates that are consumed across the estate based on the standards set.
  • Adding hotels or changing workflows such as tax rules is centrally managed in rapid user actions
