France: Lifestyle brand Miiro has opened its first property, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter of Paris.
Le Grand Hôtel Cayré has been repositioned from Hôtel Cayré in partnership with the interior design studio Michaelis Boyd.
The hotel features 123 rooms and suites, restaurant Annette, hidden bar Officine Bac which occupies a former pharmaceutical dispensary, lounge area The Gallery, and a fitness centre.
A Refresh Room, which will become a Miiro brand signature, offers guest changing rooms, showers, toiletries, charging points, and smart lockers for use pre/post check in or out.
Mickael Meunier, general manager at Le Grand Hôtel Cayré saod: “As a Parisian myself, it’s been a privilege to be involved in a project that has seen the restoration of a local landmark to its former glory, and that continues to celebrate the history and stories of the surrounding neighbourhood and its community. Now, I’m even more delighted to be opening the doors and sharing this incredible hotel with our guests – not only is it a great option for travellers wanting to discover a more authentic Paris, we’re also proud to be an integral part of the local community and hub for locals in the beloved Saint-Germain quarter.”
Miiro launched in December 2023 as the latest venture from Indian aviation and hospitality conglomerate InterGlobal Enterprises.
Neena Gupta, CEO of Miiro and executive director of group strategy and international hospitality at InterGlobe Enterprises, said: “Today is a really exciting day for everyone at Miiro. We’re incredibly proud to be opening Le Grand Hôtel Cayré, the first hotel in our characterful collection, and to be debuting the Miiro promise – to deliver ‘Brilliantly Considered’ stays that connect guests with the local neighbourhood – in one of the world’s greatest cities.
“We are delighted to welcome both guests and locals to experience the charm of Le Grand Hôtel Cayré and are already looking ahead to launches in Barcelona next month, followed by London in early 2025,” she added.
