Web3 and blockchain-native firm Chain4Travel have announced a restructure in its leadership team.
Its founder Ralf Usbeck will step back from day-to-day operations and take over the chairmanship of the board of directors, to focus on the company’s strategic direction.
The company’s existing CTO will become its new CEO.
Anke Hsu has been promoted to chief growth officer and will also take over product management.
Vincent Usbeck will lead operations as the new COO, stepping up from VP of sales and marketing.
In this position, he will focus primarily on the launch and strategic management of the Camino Network (CAM) token, driving sales initiatives, and establishing a robust network of Web3 partnerships to launch and integrate Camino Network into the Web3 and travel industry.
Ralf Usbeck will have more duties and powers under Swiss corporate law than the German equivalent of the chairman of the board.
He plans to continue overseeing the collaboration with strategic partners.
“My strength lies in building up companies and strategically guiding them in the right direction,” he said.
“With Chain4Travel, we have created a global ecosystem and achieved everything we promised by the end of the year.
“We are now in growth mode: We want to expand globally, Chain4Travel is currently in Institutional Sales, and the Camino Network Foundation is preparing for the CEX listing of the Camino Token (CAM) in the fourth quarter of 2024.” Ralf Usbeck takes over the chairmanship from Andy Owen-Jones.
Castillo said: “I am very much looking forward to this role and continuing to work closely with the founders of Camino.”
In addition to Ralf Usbeck, Thomas Stirnimann, former CEO of the Swiss tour operator Hotelplan, is also a member of the Chain4Travel founding team.
Castillo was a long-time CIO at Hotelplan before joining Chain4Travel.
He added: “Together with Anke and Vincent, we will establish the Camino Network globally.”
