Nick Cooper will succeed him

A change at the top of travel deals firm HolidayPirates Group has seen Phil Salcedo to move on from his role as head of UK market.

He is being succeeded after seven years by the company’s UK and North America commercial partnerships supervisor Nick Cooper.

The change comes at a time when the HolidayPirates is returning to its roots by using social media to build the brand.

“With these organisational changes, the company is positioning itself for a new era of growth, driven by smart investments in technology and the continued evolution of its digital marketing strategy,” a statement said.

Chief executive David Armstrong said: “Phil’s impact over the past seven years has been significant, and we are grateful for his dedication.

“As we move forward, Nick’s vision and leadership will help steer our UK operations into a new chapter of growth and innovation.”

Cooper added: “I’m incredibly excited to take on this role and build upon the strong foundation that Phil has established over the past seven years.

“The UK market presents unique opportunities, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to innovate and deliver exceptional travel deals and features to our users.”
