BizAway appoints a new General Manager

Italian-based scale-up, BizAway, has welcomed Dario Rizzo to lead the team as General Manager.

The appointment, aimed to strengthen the global company’s brand positioning, is part of BizAway’s dedication to investing in young talent to fuel its growth.

His arrival is part of a strategic plan aimed at enhancing digital expertise in communication and customer support, aligning with BizAway’s increasingly global business vision.

With a strong background in digital strategy and B2B marketing, Rizzo earned a degree in Economics and Banking Science, followed by a specialisation in Economics and Financial Intermediaries Management in Siena. 

Further, he gained experience at Tribe47, GetResponse and Factorial, leading him to move between London, Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Barcelona. 

“I’m thrilled to join BizAway, an ambitious company that values people and maintains a strong focus on environmental sustainability. It’s a workplace where respect and kindness prevail, and on top of that, it’s all about travel, my passion,” said Rizzo. 

“I come from a small-town background where working with customers in my family’s store made me realize early on that commerce, personal relationships, and communication would be my lifelong interests.

“We are excited to welcome Dario to our team as Global Marketing Manager. He will help us enhance a brand that is increasingly focused on building a sense of community, sharing knowledge and experience, and creating new opportunities to support even more companies and travellers,” said Luca Carlucci, CEO of BizAway.
