The soon-to-open AC Hotel Wichita Downtown in Wichita, Kan., has announced the appointment of Jeff Barnett and Holli Maestas to lead the hotel’s operations and sales efforts.
Jeff Barnett has been named general manager of the new hotel, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience in the industry, which includes overseeing multiple Marriott properties in both large and small markets. Since relocating to Wichita in 2019, Barnett has managed properties in East Wichita, guiding them through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Holli Maestas joins the AC Hotel Wichita Downtown as director of sales. A Kansas native, Maestas brings more than 11 years of industry experience to her new role.
Opening July 16, 2025, AC Hotel Wichita Downtown will introduce the AC Hotel brand to Kansas, part of Marriott’s global lifestyle portfolio. Located at 105 S. Broadway Ave., the hotel is housed in the restored Brown/Broadway Plaza Building, a downtown Wichita landmark built in 1929.
The hotel is managed by Greenwood Hospitality, a partner of Hotel Equities.
