Scottish distiller Eden Mill has revealed a refreshed look for its core range gin portfolio. Love Gin, Original Gin and Golf Gin have all been updated with a new bottle and label, with a strong focus on locally sourced botanicals from the East Coast of Scotland.

The striking new bottle is an evolution of Eden Mill’s existing pack – the recognisable dimpled glass remains but the pack has a larger label making it far more prominent on shelf. A wide set cork replaces the previous screw top, again adding to the bottle’s presence on the back bar or on grocery shelves.

Each of the three core products has a bespoke illustration speaking to the product’s origin story.

Love Gin, the ever popular pink gin, celebrates Fife’s fertile hedgerows and rich tradition of berry growing. The label boasts a love heart illustration, detailing the raspberries and strawberries that are picked minutes away from the distillery to create this fruity and enticing gin.

Original Gin is an ode to the hardy Fife coastline and the rugged botanicals that grow there. Sea Buckthorn berries and honeyberries are the heroes in this product, deceptively fruity botanicals that thrive in the harshest coastal conditions. Scottish kombu seaweed complements these sweet notes with a subtle salinity.

The relaunch comes as Eden Mill’s Golf Gin product becomes the world’s first spirit to be distilled with botanicals foraged from the Old Course in St Andrews – including gorse, heather and lavender. Golf Gin is available across the UK at over 200 Waitrose stores.

Commenting on the news, Rennie Donaldson, Chief Executive Officer at Eden Mill, said: “2025 is a huge year for Eden Mill, with our distillery now operational and our visitor centre opening to the public in August. To coincide, we wanted to update our core gins to bring a vibrant new look to the range and on-shelf presence in the on and off trade.

“Central to this refresh has been the botanical stories that underpin each of the three gins. Our excellent network of farms and growers have allowed us to celebrate the rich larder of fruits and botanicals available along the east coast of Scotland.”

Eden Mill’s distillery is powered from 100% renewable sources, coming from either the solar farm belonging to the University of St Andrews or from renewable tariffs on the grid. The business is working on various other sustainability initiatives, including their partnership with MiAlgae which was announced in October 2024 – using effluent from the distillation process to create a source of algae that doesn’t rely on sea fish stocks.
