Following the successful media campaign for the Parisian boutique Maison Proust, Hôtel & Spa La Mer, RG2 Communications, an award-winning international public relations and creative agency founded by Grace Hitchen Hilsley and Ross Belfer, is proud to announce its continued collaboration with Collection Maisons Particulières.

RG2 has been retained to lead communications for the group’s second boutique property, the iconic Maison Souquet, Hôtel & Spa, further strengthening its role in shaping the global presence of Paris’s most refined and storied hospitality experiences. This renewed partnership is being launched on the occasion of Maison Souquet, Hôtel & Spa’s 10th anniversary.

Maison Proust, Hôtel & Spa La Mer is a five-star luxury boutique nestled in the heart of Le Marais, paying tribute to renowned author, Marcel Proust, and the refined elegance of the Belle Époque. Designed by Jacques Garcia, the hotel revives the spirit of Proust’s Parisian salons, with each of its 23 rooms and suites dedicated to a figure from the author’s world. Rich in detail, the interiors are layered with velvet, antiques, and curated art, creating a cinematic ambiance. The hotel features a plush library, a bar with signature cocktails, a winter garden, and a hidden La Mer spa, inspired by the Orientalism of Aunt Léonie’s salons, where Marcel Proust spent part of his childhood, offering an immersive experience that celebrates both cultural history and indulgent comfort.

RG2 communications’ newest addition to the portfolio, Maison Souquet, Hôtel & Spa was also designed by Jacques Garcia, and is an opulent five-star boutique hotel located in the neighbourhood of Montmartre, known for its sensual and mysterious allure. Housed in a former 19th-century maison close (pleasure house), the hotel boasts 20 rooms, suites, and apartments, which exude decadence with its Moorish-style lounge, velvet-draped furnishings, and richly colored interiors.

Like Maison Proust, Hôtel & Spa La Mer, it features a secret spa, accessible only to guests, which adds an exclusive and almost mythical touch to the stay. The wellness area features a 10m x 3m swimming pool, a hammam, and a relaxation space. Every space is imbued with a sense of romance and theatricality, offering a unique escape from modern life. Maison Souquet’s renowned cocktail bar and three salons – the exotic Salon des Mille et Une Nuits, the cozy bar-library of the Salon des Petits Bonheurs, and the serene Winter Garden, each provide a unique ambiance, offering intimate settings for dining and drinks, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Since its opening 10 years ago, the property has been repeatedly voted the ‘most romantic hotel’ in France, its cocktail bar has become one of the most iconic and sought-after in Paris and it consistently receives the highest levels of guest satisfaction in its category.

Both Maison Proust and Maison Souquet share Garcia’s signature design language – sumptuous textures, historical references, and a transportive atmosphere. Each hotel is a deeply immersive experience rooted in Parisian heritage, evoking the elegance and mystique of the Belle Époque. While Maison Proust draws from literary refinement and artistic salons, Maison Souquet leans into intrigue and sensuality, yet both offer intimate luxury crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail.

“We are proud to now represent both Maison Proust, Hôtel & Spa La Mer, and Maison Souquet, Hôtel & Spa, two extraordinary hotels that embody the elegance, artistry, and timeless allure of Paris. Each offers a distinct yet equally enchanting experience, and we are honored to share their stories with the world.” – Ross Belfer, Principal & Co-Founder, RG2 Communications.

RG2 Communications will drive a renewed strategic focus on the individual properties of Collection Maisons Particulières, as well as the group as a whole, further cementing their status as top boutique hospitality experiences in the city of Paris, and engaging with local and international media to build enduring visibility, inspire discerning travelers, and elevate the global profile of these singular Parisian addresses.
