Arora Group has acquired the Novotel London West hotel in Hammersmith in a joint deal with Madrid-based investment firm Deva Capital for an undisclosed amount.

The freehold purchase marks Arora’s second hotel in central London and expands its portfolio to more than 20 properties and 8,000 rooms across the UK.

The Novotel London West has more than 630 bedrooms and one of the country’s largest conference and events venues, with capacity for 3,000 delegates across 33 meeting spaces.

Surinder Arora, founder and executive chairman of the Arora Group, said: “In partnership with Deva Capital, we are delighted to welcome Novotel London West into the Arora portfolio. This acquisition reflects our continued commitment to expanding our presence in key locations across the UK, particularly in central London.

“The hotel’s exceptional meetings and events infrastructure aligns perfectly with our strategic focus in this space, and we look forward to building on its success.”

Simon Masri, partner at Dentons, who advised Arora on the transaction, added: “We are delighted to have assisted Arora Group in this milestone purchase. This acquisition showcases Dentons’ market-leading expertise assisting clients on the acquisition of prized hotel locations.”

This move builds on Arora’s existing footprint in London, joining the InterContinental London – The O2 as a flagship destination for large-scale events, conferences, and corporate hospitality.
