Celebrities to discuss how travel shapes our lives and screens

Expedia Group has announced a new season of its podcast, Powering Travel.

Celebrity guests including stars from The White Lotus’ and Jane the Virgin are among those taking part in season five of the pod.

The celebrities, as well as ‘cultural tastemakers’, and industry leaders will discuss how travel shapes our lives and our screens. 

The podcast will be hosted by New York Times deputy travel editor Elisabeth Goodridge.

Episodes in season five include:

Tayme Thapthimthong: The star of The White Lotus shares behind-the-scenes stories from filming in Thailand and how the show is inspiring real-world travel.

Arthur Brooks: The ‘happiness expert’, author and speaker speaks on the science of joy and why travel is essential to well-being.

Jaime Camil: Star of Jane the Virgin discusses cultural connection and the power of travel to build empathy.

Phil Keoghan: The Amazing Race host speaks on resilience, adventure, and what global competition teaches us about humanity.

Chef Julian Hagood talks about food as a passport to culture and community.

Ariane Gorin: Chief executive of Expedia Group discusses the future of travel.
