Dorchester Collection to manage the $2 billion 1 Mayfair

UK: Developer Caudwell has appointed hotel and residence operator Dorchester Collection to manage the $2 billion residential scheme 1 Mayfair in London.

1 Mayfair is located on South Audley Street near Park Lane and Hyde Park. Caudwell has collaborated with architect Robert A.M. Stern of RAMSA and designer Juan Pablo Molyneux on the project.

The property offers 24 residences including apartments, penthouses and townhouses. Five additional staff suites and entertainment halls and lounges are all located around a central garden. 

Amenities include a spa with a swimming pool, gym and treatment rooms, alongside basement parking, security and concierge. 

1 Mayfair will now be positioned as offering “luxury services by The Dorchester” including  priority reservation at The Dorchester’s restaurants and services, located a three minute walk away. 

Christopher Cowdray, company president of Dorchester Collection, said: “Dorchester Collection is delighted to have been selected as the management company of 1 Mayfair, one of the most exceptional residential addresses in the world. Our dedicated team at The Dorchester will offer a certain way of life, curation and meaningful discernment few others can match as part of our legendary culture.”

John Caudwell, founder of Caudwell, added: “1 Mayfair is London’s most prestigious residential address, designed to be a leader in global luxury, so we have appointed the internationally acclaimed Dorchester Collection to manage 1 Mayfair. It is part of our vision to ensure that the exceptional amenities and private residences that Caudwell has created at 1 Mayfair are operated to the highest standards of elegance and polished professionalism for which Dorchester Collection is world renowned.” 

1 Mayfair is scheduled for completion in Q1 2027. The main sales phase will kick off in 2026 when the first residence is due to be unveiled. Prices are estimated to start at £35 million.
