Tewkesbury Park’s restaurant, Mint, has been named Restaurant of the Year at the 2025 Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards.
The accolade recognises excellence across the region’s hospitality industry, with judges commending Mint for its focus on seasonal produce, high-quality service and inventive approach to modern British dining.
Led by executive chef Anuj Thakur, the restaurant’s menu combines locally sourced ingredients with subtle global influences. Thakur’s dishes are known for their use of spice and warmth reflecting his Indian heritage, while maintaining what the hotel describes as an “elegant and balanced” character.
Mint also offers a six-course tasting menu, developed by Thakur and his team, which aims to showcase creativity and technical precision through a sequence of seasonal plates.
Samantha Bond, hotel manager of Tewkesbury Park, said: “We’re immensely proud of Anuj and the entire kitchen and front-of-house team. This award recognises the high standards we’ve worked so hard to achieve, and the experience we aim to deliver every day to our guests.”
Tewkesbury Park said the win underscores its commitment to providing high-quality dining alongside its accommodation, golf course and leisure facilities.
Thakur added: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been named Restaurant of the Year. This recognition means so much to us – it’s a wonderful reflection of the passion, creativity and hard work our entire team puts into everything we do.
“To be recognised by Cotswold Life, such a respected voice within the region, is a real honour and gives us all encouragement to continue striving for excellence in every dish we create.”
The Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards are regarded as among the region’s leading hospitality accolades, celebrating the chefs, producers and venues contributing to the Cotswolds’ food reputation.
