Four Seasons is to develop a collection of private residences on Shura Island in partnership with Red Sea Global, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea tourism project.

The development, called Four Seasons Private Residences Red Sea at Shura Island, will comprise 75 homes – 43 Dune Villas and 32 Waterside Villas – situated between the planned Four Seasons Resort and the island’s 18-hole golf course, Shura Links.

The homes will range from three to five bedrooms and include private infinity pools, terraces and direct access to the beach. The villas are being designed by architecture firm Foster + Partners, with interiors by Goddard Littlefair.

Each residence will be supported by a team led by a director of residences, providing property management and services such as housekeeping, childcare, and recreational activities. A clubhouse operated by Four Seasons will also serve as a social hub, featuring a restaurant, pool and gym.

Shura Island is the largest island within the Red Sea destination, which is being developed with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. The wider project is powered entirely by renewable energy, and plans include marine protected areas and the planting of more than 30 million plants by 2030.

The Red Sea International Airport has begun operating domestic and international flights from Dubai, Doha, Jeddah and Riyadh. The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences on Shura Island are expected to open in 2026.

Alejandro Reynal, president and chief executive of Four Seasons, said: “We are delighted to play a role in this impressive development, and together with our partners at Red Sea Global, we are looking forward to offering our residents the opportunity to enjoy luxury living with Four Seasons in this remarkable destination.”

Stephen Cheesebrough, head of development at Red Sea Global, added: “Residents will enjoy privileged access to the island’s most exceptional offerings, which include signature restaurants, designer boutiques, wellness sanctuaries, tennis and padel, as well as a championship golf course framed by turquoise waters.”
