Hand Picked Hotels has received two AA Notable Wine List Awards for Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa in Cheshire and Rhinefield House Hotel in the New Forest.
The commendation recognises wine lists that demonstrate range, balance and an ability to encourage diners to explore wider selections.
The group, which operates 21 country house and coastal properties across the UK and Channel Islands, said both hotels were recognised for the breadth of their lists and for hosting wine events and partnerships with established producers.

Rookery Hall’s restaurant also holds three AA Rosettes.

Over the past year, Hand Picked Hotels has expanded its wine programme with more than 180 new wines across the portfolio.
The updated list features a mix of global and classic vintages selected to accompany its dining menus.
The collection includes wines from the group’s private cellars and from Villa Saletta, the Tuscan estate owned by Julia and Guy Hands.
The company said the list places an emphasis on producers using sustainable viticulture and environmentally focused methods.
Staff training has been expanded through the launch of an internal wine school, enabling team members to work towards Wine and Spirit Education Trust qualifications.
Julia Hands, chair of Hand Picked Hotels, said: “The AA Notable Wine List Awards are a wonderful recognition of the dedication of our teams and our commitment to excellence in every aspect of hospitality.
“This new wine chapter is about far more than a list; it is about creating meaningful connections between our guests and the stories behind every bottle. Our carefully selected collection celebrates discovery, provenance and the simple pleasure of exceptional wine enjoyed in extraordinary places.”
