A new luxury resort has opened on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Armony Marival Resort & Spa Punta de Mita, part of Accor’s MGallery Hotel Collection, has opened in Punta de Mita. The property marks the brand’s arrival in Mexico.
Armony Marival’s 212 guest rooms and 56 suites feature balconies and terraces that overlook the Pacific. Inside, the resort integrates regional artistry with modern amenities, including decor inspired by Huichol traditions.
The resort’s biophilic design, a concept that integrates architecture with natural surroundings, ensures a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. The property features a palapa-covered entrance, a flowing water column in the lobby and woven wicker hammocks handcrafted by local artisans.

The resort’s six dining destinations highlight locally sourced ingredients. The Divum Restaurant features zero-kilometer cuisine, where dishes are crafted with ingredients from the on-site garden and regional suppliers. Other options include Essence Restaurant, which alternates between Mexican and Mediterranean fare, La Brise for oceanfront breakfast buffets and Drops Bar.
The resort also offers a spa, which draws inspiration from Huichol traditions, offering seven treatment cabins and a signature Pacific Ceremony, an energy-cleansing ritual performed by a Huichol shaman. The resort also promotes digital detox experiences, inviting guests to step away from their screens and embrace activities like yoga, sound healing and guided hikes.

Beyond hospitality, the resort is committed to community impact, partnering with organizations like the Pietro Rizzuto Foundation, which provides healthcare to underserved populations, and Fundación de Corazón de Niña, supporting orphaned and disadvantaged children with educational programs.
Aiming to offer a curated collection of unique properties, the MGallery Hotel Collection currently has more than 120 boutique hotels worldwide.
