
Retailaer, an airline retailing and distribution platform, has announced the appointment of Ashley Raiteri as its interim chief technology officer.
He joins with expertise across fares, flight scheduling, and commercial distribution, having previously developed one of the first competitor flight search engines to ITA’s product.
In his career, Raiteri has launched more than eight startups in the travel ecosystem, many of which have been acquired or remain profitable today.
Raiteri has worked closely with airlines including United, Swiss, Virgin, Scoot, JetStar, amongst others and this news comes hot off the heels of Retailaer’s recent announcement regarding its collaboration with Air Europa.
In his new role, he will lead the development and execution of Retailaer’s technology vision, aligning innovation with the company’s growth objectives.
His focus will be on building a scalable, future-ready platform while introducing technologies that enhance user experience and drive operational excellence.
He will also collaborate with stakeholders to align Retailaer’s technology with market needs, optimise data-driven decision-making, and ensure system security.
