The Beaumont Mayfair has announced the appointment of Alan Noone as head concierge and Brett Tidy as deputy head concierge, in a move that strengthens the hotel’s front-of-house team.
Noone joins after more than 25 years in the five-star hotel sector, including senior roles at The Berkeley, The Connaught and The Stafford London, where he served as executive head concierge since 2021. He has been a member of the international concierge association Les Clefs d’Or for over two decades and was named UK Concierge of the Year at the 2019 Catey Awards.
Tidy also moved to The Beaumont from The Stafford London, where he worked for more than 40 years after starting as a luggage porter while still at school. A fellow member of Les Clefs d’Or, he is known for building long-term relationships with guests and for his ability to manage unexpected requests.
Stuart Procter, chief executive of The Beaumont Mayfair, said: “I am delighted to welcome Alan and Brett to the team at The Beaumont Mayfair. This marks the second time that Alan, Brett and I have all worked together, and I have no doubt that they will continue to do what they do best, bringing their dedication to each day and every guest, as well as their seemingly inexhaustible list of contacts.”
Noone said: “I strongly believe a hotel concierge operation should be a benchmark for customer service. To continue to work in one of the most exciting cities in the world, and offer a level of service that goes above and beyond, is something that I am hugely excited to be a part of.”
Tidy added: “I’m delighted to be working with Stuart and Alan and the team, and I’m looking forward to building relationships with the hotel’s guests, and helping to make their requests a reality.”
The appointments mark the latest senior additions at the luxury Mayfair hotel, which opened in 2014 and is known for its Art Deco interiors and independent ownership.
