Corinthia London has announced the appointment of Karina Elias as its new hotel manager, effective from this month.
Her appointment follows the recent additions of Jasper Anderegg as director of rooms in May, and Nick Sievewright as director of sales and marketing in August.
Elias has joined the hotel’s executive committee, where she oversees day-to-day operations and support efforts to enhance the guest experience across the London flagship.
She previously served as director of food and beverage at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott hotel, where she managed the property’s restaurants, bars and events.
Her earlier roles included senior positions at The Langham and The Savoy in London, leading teams recognised for service innovation and performance.
Elias began her career internationally with Four Seasons Hotel Boston, The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in New Hampshire, and the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, formerly part of Orient Express Hotels, where she completed a graduate programme.
Charlotte Weatherall, general manager of Corinthia London, said: “Karina’s operational expertise, global perspective and inspiring leadership make her a tremendous addition to our executive team.
“We are delighted to welcome her to Corinthia London and are confident she will play an instrumental role in shaping the hotel’s continued success.”
Elias added: “I am thrilled to join Corinthia London, a property synonymous with timeless elegance and genuine hospitality, at such an exciting time.
“I look forward to working with the talented team to continue delivering exceptional guest experiences and further elevating the hotel’s reputation as one of London’s leading luxury destinations.”
