More on Radisson
The larger of the two, Prize by Radisson, Solheimsviken Bergen, is two kilometres from the city centre and has 217 rooms, a restaurant and bar, event facilities and a rooftop terrace. The second site, Prize by Radisson, Xhibition Bergen City, is located within the Xhibition shopping centre and provides 55 rooms close to Grieghallen, the city’s main cultural and congress venue.
Maud Haldorsen, cluster general manager for Prize by Radisson Solheimsviken Bergen and Xhibition Bergen City, said: “We are thrilled to open Nordics’ first two Prize by Radisson hotels here in Bergen. Our aim is to give our guests vibrant, authentic, and inspiring hospitality experiences, right in the middle of our beautiful city.”
Both hotels are positioned near public transport links, retail districts and visitor attractions. Bergen – a UNESCO World Heritage City – is known for its historic Bryggen wharf, the Fløibanen funicular and its setting among fjords and mountains. Radisson Hotel Group already operates Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen, at Bryggen.
