Kyle Lynch named head chef at Ormer Mayfair by Sofian

Lynch joined the newly-starred restaurant, which is led by executive chef Sofian Msetfi and located within luxury hotel Flemings Mayfair, in 2021 as sous chef and has worked his way through the ranks.

He previously worked with Msetfi at Adare Manor’s Michelin-starred Oak Room restaurant before leaving to join Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant, Ichigo Ichie in Cork.

As head chef he is responsible for the development and implementation of the restaurant’s seasonally led British five- and seven-course tasting menus as well as the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

“I’m delighted to step up in this new role and oversee the talented kitchen team at the restaurant whilst continuing to learn and be inspired by Sofian who is a great talent,” he says.

“I look forward to continuing to provide exciting and creative culinary experiences for our diners.”

Ormer Mayfair by Sofian was awarded its first star by the Michelin Guide earlier this year.
