B&B HOTELS announces the appointment of Valerio Duchini as Chief Executive Officer for Western Europe. He succeeds Marine Charles and will be responsible for continuing the group’s development in this key region.
A career dedicated to the expansion of B&B HOTELS
Having been with B&B HOTELS since 2009, Valerio Duchini has played a major role in the group’s international growth. After beginning his career in the financial departments of Vodafone Automotive and Compass Group Italia, he joined the brand as Chief Financial Officer. He then takes over the management of the Italian subsidiary, contributing to its development and positioning it among the key players in the local hospitality market.
Over the past two years, he has been responsible for the deployment of B&B HOTELS in the United States. A significant challenge that he successfully met by opening the group’s first three American hotels.
A strategic appointment to strengthen European presence
Now leading the Western Europe region, Valerio Duchini’s objective will be to consolidate B&B HOTELS’ growth and accelerate its development in this key market. His expertise and strategic vision will be essential assets for the brand.

At 52 years old, Valerio Duchini holds a degree in economics, a master’s in tourism management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. His in-depth knowledge of the sector and international experience will be crucial in successfully leading his new mission.
