Worldwide: Operator Grand Metropolitan Hotels has acquired the luxury brand Voile d’Or Hotels and Resorts, securing full brand and intellectual property rights, along with all management contracts.
Voile d’Or Hotels and Resorts currently operates a collection of luxury hotels and residences in six locations: London, Paris, New York, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, St. Barths, and Courchevel.
The original hotel in the collection – Hotel La Voile d’Or in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat in the French Riviera, which first opened its doors in 1925 – is set for an extensive renovation and reopening in 2029.
As part of the acquisition, Jacques Oudinot has been named as chief executive officer of Voile d’Or Hotels and Resorts. He said: “Voile d’Or represents more than hospitality—it is the art of crafting unforgettable moments. We are honoured to shape the next era of this extraordinary brand.”
Edouard Deschepper has also been appointed as board director.
