Knight Frank has completed the sale of The Potters Heron, a 53-room country house hotel located in Hampshire, England.

The Potters Heron is situated between Winchester and Southampton and has operated as a hotel for nearly 20 years under private ownership. The hotel is being acquired by Heartwood Inns, part of Heartwood Collection.

“I am delighted to have worked closely with our client in assisting them with the sale of The Potters Heron, especially after they have successfully managed this business for almost two decades. This quintessential country hotel with its rustic charm and commercial potential, provides an exciting opportunity for the new owner to capitalise on the property’s value-add potential through significant refurbishment. I am therefore equally as pleased to have secured a successful sale to Heartwood Inns and wish them the best of success with their plans to enhance the offering of this much-admired property,” said Chris Field, associate, Knight Frank Hotels.

The property, set on 3.2 acres, includes six event and conference spaces, a 100-cover restaurant and on-site parking.
