Melissa Egan has been named director of sales and marketing at The Statler, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, the leading global third-party hotel operator. The Statler, in downtown Dallas, was built in 1956 and is recognized on the Historic Hotels of America registry.

Egan brings more than a decade of progressive leadership experience in hospitality sales and marketing to her new role, specializing in brand transitions and onboarding at high-performing properties across the country.

“Melissa’s proven track record across national brands will allow her to bring a new approach to The Statler’s sales and marketing strategy,” said The Statler General Manager Shyam Lalu.

With a dynamic portfolio spanning urban, conference, full-service and extended-stay hotels, Egan drives market growth with a blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership.

Prior to joining The Statler, Egan has been instrumental in repositioning hotels following brand transitions, notably driving an increase in revenue generation and exceeding budget. Her ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver results has made her a go-to leader for complex markets.

Egan has previously held key sales leadership roles across renowned brands including Sonesta, Marriott, Renaissance and Sheraton. While at the Renaissance Dallas Addison, she grew the corporate national account segment and increased lead volume. As director of sales and marketing at Dallas Marriott Suites, she steered the hotel to exceed budget and revenue generation goals, helping the property earn recognition as Hotel of the Year.

“I’m honored to be joining the historic Statler, which has such an iconic presence in downtown Dallas,” Egan said. “Having a hotel with so many amenities and so much versatility will allow our sales and marketing team to really drive growth.”
