Oyo has added more than 150 hotels to its U.S. portfolio in the first half of 2025 and expects to match that figure by the end of the year, the company announced Monday. The new properties span seven states, with growth focused on high-inventory assets and strategic conversions.

New additions include properties in Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, California, Michigan and Illinois. Ten of the newly added hotels have more than 100 rooms, signaling a shift toward larger-scale assets. Among the notable additions is Palette Sunset Waves Resort, a 400-room oceanfront property in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Also joining the portfolio are Capital O Kings Inn, a 130-room hotel in Memphis, Tennessee; Travellers Inn by Oyo, a 130-room property in Douglas, Georgia; and Jackson Hotel and Convention Center, a 140-room hotel in Jackson, Tennessee. All four hotels were previously independent.

Oyo plans to continue its expansion through “organic expansions, partnership-driven signings and strategic conversions,” according to the company. It is also enhancing its proprietary technology, with updates planned for its mobile app, AI-powered pricing tools and loyalty rewards program.

The company is placing a strategic focus on the Sun Belt and Great Lakes regions, identifying both as high-demand growth areas.

“2025 is shaping up to be a busy year for all if us at Oyo. We are helping our hotel owners unlock revenue growth and operational efficiency through our technology. Our expanded portfolio gives travelers more choice and value, while our direct channel momentum shows that Oyo is becoming a trusted hospitality brand for both new and returning guests,” said Nikhil Heda, head of development, Oyo US.

Oyo, which identifies as a hospitality technology company, continues to position its platform as a tool for both independent hoteliers and travelers seeking affordable options in underserved areas. The company completed its acquisition of G6 Hospitaity, the parent company of Motel 6, last December.
