Thailand: Flight Centre Travel Group has agreed to sell its luxury boutique brand Cross Hotels & Resorts to South Korean hospitality group Sono International.

Cross Hotels will continue to operate from its Bangkok headquarters, overseeing existing properties and future pipeline.

The current portfolio stands at 28 hotels located across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan.

Harry Thaliwal, CEO of Cross Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Sono International, whose regional insight and shared commitment to quality make them a natural fit for our business.

“This partnership opens new opportunities for innovation and expansion, strengthening our position across key markets while staying true to what makes Cross unique. With Sono’s support, we will continue to enhance our portfolio, deliver outstanding experiences, and drive sustainable growth,” he added.

Graham Turner, managing director of Flight Centre Travel Group, added: “This deal will cement [Cross Hotels & Resorts’] future as part of a large and expanding hotel management organisation, while also allowing us to focus on other exciting growth opportunities within our Horizon Three business network.
