
Radisson Individuals has added New Bath Hotel and Spa in Matlock Bath to its UK portfolio.
The property dates back to the 18th Century and has 54 guest rooms. It is located in Derbyshire, near the Peak District, and now operates under the Radisson Individuals brand, which brings together independently operated hotels within Radisson Hotel Group.
The hotel includes an outdoor lido, an open-air swimming pool dating from the 1930s that is supplied by mineral spring water. The pool remains in operation as part of the hotel’s facilities.

Spa facilities at the site include treatment rooms offering ESPA products, along with a hot tub, sauna and steam room. These facilities are available to hotel guests and day visitors.
Food and drink services are provided through the Fountain Restaurant and bar, with menus based on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The hotel also has two event spaces: a ballroom with capacity for up to 150 people and a meeting room accommodating up to 40.
The hotel is located within walking distance of attractions including the Peak District Mining Museum, Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham. Other nearby sites include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Arbor Low.
Jeop Peeters, senior vice-president franchise at Radisson Hotel Group, said the addition aligned with the group’s portfolio strategy.
The hotel is dog-friendly and is located approximately 30 minutes from Derby, around one hour from Nottingham and Sheffield, and about two and a half hours from London by train.
