Worldwide: The sixth edition of Branded Residences: An Overview, an independent report by Graham Associates, provides the latest data and analysis on the global branded residences sector.

The 68-page report includes market research, trend analysis, and interviews with industry professionals.

It examines issues facing developers, operators, and homeowners as the sector expands, and provides context around the evolving structure and expectations of branded residential projects.

Since its first publication nine years ago, Branded Residences: An Overview has tracked the sector’s growth and structural changes.

Some key stats from the latest report includes:

• There are more than 115,000 branded units across 750 completed projects worldwide.

• More than 1,600 schemes are forecast by 2030.

• Hotel brands dominate the sector (80 per cent) and approximately two-thirds are in the luxury segment.

• Marriott is the largest hotel operator of branded residences, while YOO is the leader non-hospitality brand.

• Dubai ranks the number one city, followed by Miami, NYC and London.

Chris Graham, author of the report, said: “As long as the branded residential experience appeals to global buyers, with innovative developers continually raising the bar, and evolving brands that stay relevant to their audiences, the sector will continue to flourish. It’s truly an exciting space to be working in.
